Connecting Google & Microsoft
- From Dashboard → Connect, choose Continue with Google (or Re-authorize if you already signed in).
- Approve access for the Google account that owns or can view your Search Console, Analytics, Ads, and Tag Manager resources.
- After consent, pick the properties and Ads customers for each site in Conversion Console.
- If Ads or Tag Manager options are missing after an older login, use Re-authorize so Google can show the full permission screen again.
Microsoft (Bing Webmaster)
- Use the Bing connect action on Connect when it is available for your workspace.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that has access to your Bing Webmaster sites, then return to Conversion Console to finish linking.
What “read-only” means for Ads
Google Ads permissions are used for reporting and opportunity insights only. Campaign edits still happen in Google Ads — Conversion Console will not pause, change bids, or rewrite ads through the API.
Consent tips
- Use the same Google user that already has access in Search Console / Ads — inviting a new user in those products first is often easier than switching accounts mid-flow.
- If Google says the app is in testing and blocks you, ask your workspace admin to invite your Google account, or contact support.
- Still stuck? See Troubleshooting.
