How to run this guide

Step 01

Microsoft Clarity on money URLs

Add Clarity with your project ID and API token on the site form when prompted. Use it for friction-heavy CRO plays on converting templates — not vanity heatmaps across the whole site.

What to check

  • Only friction-heavy CRO plays require Clarity
  • Other recipes degrade gracefully without it
  • Keep tokens per site so client workspaces stay isolated

Step 02

Meta Ads beside Google Ads

Connect Meta when you want paid social pacing and landing-page conversion joins on the same graph as Google Ads and GA4. Insights stay read-only reporting — you still change campaigns in Meta.

What to check

  • Useful for intent-leak and landing efficiency plays
  • Pair with GA4 key events on the same URLs
  • Skip Meta until social spend is material to the ritual

Step 03

Bing as a secondary demand signal

Use the Bing connect action when available. Sign in with the Microsoft account that has Bing Webmaster access, then finish linking in Conversion Console so query performance sits beside GSC.

What to check

  • Treat Bing as supporting demand evidence, not a second SEO product
  • Helpful for brand and commercial terms missing from Google-only views
  • See Integrations for the full connector catalog

Step 04

CRM, ESP, and project tools (optional)

HubSpot, Shopify, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Asana, and ClickUp keep conversion definitions and handoffs aligned. Connect them under Integrations when briefs need a place to land.

What to check

  • CRM/ESP context helps lifecycle follow-through
  • Project tools carry ownership after triage
  • LLM keys are BYO and never shared across clients

FAQ

Clarity, Meta & Bing FAQs

Do I need Clarity on day one?

No. Add Clarity when you are ready to prioritize friction on money URLs with GA4 context.

Are Meta scopes read-only?

Yes for reporting and opportunity insights. Campaign changes stay in Meta Ads Manager.

What if Bing is not available yet?

GSC still powers the organic side of the graph. Add Bing when the connect action appears for your workspace.

Where do LLM keys live?

Under Integrations. Built-in recipes run without them; AI briefs use your provider account.
